Pre Planning
The funeral service is for the living because it enables family and friends to gather and express their feelings. It is a time to pay tribute, reflect on the memories, gain strength from others and begin to accept one of life's many changes.
Initially many people may be uncomfortable at the thought of pre-planning their funeral arrangements, however, many of our families go on to find the process very therapeutic. They are helping to ensure that at a time of stress and loss, their relatives and friends do not have the extra stress of planning.
By pre planning your funeral you can ensure that you are taking care of the arrangements as you wish whether that be cremation or burial. You can even choose the music and themes for ensuring the day, though tinged with sadness, can be a celebration of your life and achievements.

Making Pre-Payments
A further simple step available in making funeral arrangements is to pre-pay a funeral.Plans are available and are insurance policies issued under the Life Insurance Act 1908, complying with the Trust Deed Act 1956 and the Trustee Amendment Act 1988.
The plans are provided by a third party (i.e. CDF & Westpac) and are specifically designed for the pre-arrangement of funeral expenses with the addition of interest applied to provide some protection against inflation.
The plans belong to the family and/or the Estate of the Insured and as such are portable between funeral homes.
Broadway Funeral Homes can introduce you to pre-paid funeral plans. They can avail you of the means to help relieve the burden of an inevitable event that effects our loved ones emotionally and financially. Thus allowing you to arrange and pay for your funeral long before it is needed, for TOTAL PEACE OF MIND.
